Description
Red mandibles are small insects found in red under the leaves. Due to their attack, the leaves of Venda can be seen to be rusty. To control these in the kitchen garden, water can be vigorously sprayed under the leaves. It is also advisable to dilute the porridge with water and spray it on the underside of the leaves. When the porridge water slowly falls to the ground like a thick layer, the mandirs also fall into it. These can then be effectively removed by spraying a mixture of garlic and neem oil.
