Description
It is a viral disease. Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) and pepper yellow moth mosaic virus (PYMV) - bad virus. The leaves of the diseased vines shrink in size, lose shape and curl. In addition, the green and yellow of the leaves appear intermittently as spots and ditches. Stunting affects the entire vine. Gradually the production of diseased flags decreases significantly. The shoots become smaller. Plant growth is also stunted. Flowers and berries disappear. The disease can be controlled in the following ways.
Treatment:
The disease is transmitted when planting material is made from infected vines. So use only healthy seedlings.
Special care should be taken to avoid infected ones while collecting the stalks. Destroy diseased plants.
Sprinkle neem oil and garlic mixture to kill the spreading insects.
