During the germination of rubber leaves, the fungus Oedium hevia grows rapidly and causes a large decrease in production. Rubber board is recommended to apply sulfur powder to fight this disease which is more common in old trees. The matter is being brought to the notice of the public to allay doubts about the use of sulfur powder. Sulfur powder should be dusted in the morning with a duster to prevent the sulfur powder from sticking to the leaves and flying in the wind.
